BEFORE THE COLLECTION, THE STORY
What’s the story?
Shinji Ikari is summoned by his father to pilot an Evangelion, a biomechanical weapon built to fight the mysterious Angels. Working for NERV draws him into battles he barely understands and relationships he struggles to navigate. Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s manga offers its own interpretation of the story.
