BEFORE THE COLLECTION, THE STORY
What’s the story?
Chanel and her friend Chihiro love their neighborhood, despite its violence, drugs, poverty and dangerous characters. Their stubborn cheerfulness carries them through an increasingly disturbing everyday life. The story draws its unsettling humor from the gap between its sweet-looking protagonists and the harsh reality they treat as normal.
